The General Plan Update is an opportunity for you to weigh in on Inglewood’s future. There will be a variety of ways to participate, including community meetings and events, online engagement and surveys, and public hearings. Your input and participation are needed to take Inglewood to the Next Level!
A series of community meetings and events will engage community members and seek broad input on various General Plan topics.
Attend the Scoping Meeting to learn about the General Plan Update and environmental review process, and to share your comments. The meeting will begin with a presentation followed by an opportunity to provide comments on the scope and content of the Draft Program Environmental Impact Report. More information can be found in the Notice of Preparation.

Attend the July 21 or August 11, 2026 City Council meetings for another opportunity to learn about the Draft Land Use Plan guiding future physical development in Inglewood. Once available, meeting materials will be posted here.
The Planning Commission will be presented with the Draft Land Use Plan and asked for feedback and recommendations at the June 3, 2026 meeting. The public is encouraged to attend. View the meeting agenda and staff report for more information.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the second Online Survey and provided guidance on the types of land uses most appropriate in areas of our city that may change over the next 25 years. The opportunity to respond to the Online Survey closed on March 1, 2026. Your input in this survey will be used along with feedback collected at the Community Open House Meeting held on February 7, 2026 and prior engagement activities to guide updates to Inglewood’s General Plan Land Use Plan.
